My Treatment in China: A Diabetic Nephropathy Patient from Philippines,Toxin-Removing TreatmentI am VICTOR from Philippines, a Diabetic Nephropathy patient for 9 years. Through a long time of intermittent treatment, my illness condition deteriorated continuously. However, in China, I regained new life.

The following is my disease history and treatment experience during these years.

As early as 2004, I was diagnosed with TypeⅡ Diabetes due to symptoms of polydipsia, polyphagia, and polyuria. But I refused medication recommendation from doctor and just controlled diet.

In 2005, I was found out Proteinuria 2+, Serum Creatinine Level elevated to 246.4umol/L in a checkup. I was diagnosed with Diabetic Nephropathy, Chronic Kidney Failure, given ramipril medicine, but the effects was bad, and then I stopped medicine without the doctor’s permission.

Until 2010, in a review, my High Creatinine Level elevated to 475umol/L and kidney had started shrinking. I had no idea about kidney disease and the doctor did not explain in details, I still did not take any treatment measure.

In 2014 March, due to dizziness, I came back to hospital for check up, blood pressure reached 180/100mmHg, and serum creatinine had increased to 572umol/L. Hemedialysis was done twice a week at the local hospital, and given amlodipine tablets. Through several months of treatment, I found there was almost no change.

In order to get further treatment, I came to China for treatment. My nephew who majors in nursing Billy accompanied me, firstly is to take care of me easily, secondly he can provide more help during treatment because he also has some understanding of medical treatment.

In here, my creatinine increased to 859umol/L, ESRD stage. Doctor Lu told me the reason why I had this situation. Firstly was my illness condition delayed so long time. Since 10 years ago I was found the condition, especially kidney damage, I had almost no normal treatment. On the other hand, although recent months I always took treatment, they were just Kidney Dialysis and medication to control blood pressure, which had no improvement for kidney function. Thus the illness condition deteriorated continuously finally developed into uremia stage.

The treatment for diabetic nephropathy should be taken from the underlying cause. That is, repair kidney damage and improve kidney function to open the blocked renal arterioles and control blood pressure.

I looked poor and my electrolyte seriously disordered. So the experts arranged urgent blood purification, which was not Hemodialysis but Blood Filtration, which was more efficient and safer.

After dealt with the urgent symptoms, the next was to regulate and restore kidney function. Toxin-Removing Treatment based on TCM was adopted to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis and open the blocked collaterals and meridians. The Chinese medicines can not only dredge the blocked kidney capillaries and improve kidney anoxia condition, but also provide various efficient materials to kidney to stimulate slight damaged kidney cells.

So the doctor told me only pay attention to control blood pressure and blood glucose can not work, I should recover kidney function in the whole treatment. After 10 days, I felt better and face, dizziness and nausea had obvious improvement.
