The combination of work and rest is very important in patients with chronic kidney disease, and patients should be encouraged to exercise properly when physical conditions permit. The following points should be paid attention to in sports:
1. Sports style:
Aerobic exercise is generally chosen, and walking, jogging and cycling are recommended for nephrotic patients. Others, such as badminton, basketball, football and so on, have difficulty in stabilizing and mastering the heartbeat during exercise, so they are not suitable for nephropathy patients. Taijiquan, yoga and so on are sometimes difficult to achieve the purpose of cardiopulmonary exercise because of insufficient exercise.
2. Exercise intensity should be appropriate
The intensity of exercise should be increased step by step. At the beginning, the exercise heart rate can reach 30%-50% of the maximum heart rate; at the transitional stage, it can reach 50%-60%. At last, it can be maintained at 60%-80% after it is on the right track. The intensity should be less than that of ordinary people. Maximum heart rate is 170 - age (age).
3. Exercise time
The time of each exercise should be based on the absence of muscle weakness, dyspnea or physical fatigue, and the time can be gradually prolonged. The frequency of exercise is 3 times a week, gradually increasing, but it should be noted that the frequency is lower than that of ordinary people.
Exercise in patients with chronic kidney disease must be based on age and specific conditions. Exercise is inappropriate in the following situations: severe edema, refractory hypertension, cardiac insufficiency, severe anemia and acute infection.
